Celtic fans deserve criticism for the pitch invasion, but the 'assault' allegations still need to be proven and 48 hours on we still have no evidence to back up claims fuelled by those with an agenda
Hibs faced even worse from the Glaswegian press after the 2016 win. When the dust was settled it was found that The Rangers fans had actually committed the most serious crimes.
Reading the differences about numbers in the media tells it's own story. Today the Edinburgh News apparently states "1000s" of Celtic fans ran onto the park, so that means at least 2000+, where a few weeks ago at Snake Mountain there were repprtedly 2-300 Onion Bears reacting to the "hundreds" of Celtic fans celebrating on their midden of a pitch. Talk about exaggeration ffs, the media should realise we all saw it, we can all count or estimate crowd sizes.
Don't get me wrong, the 3-400 exuberant Celtic fans shouldn't have been near the pitch, why the stewards and the police weren't prepared for such needs to be answered, but dont pish in ma wellies and tell me it's raining.
We all saw the non assaults, in fact their captain seemed more up for a go than the youngsters and the player who stamped on someone's phone, but for the worst loser in Scottish football who couldn't face the media to say he feared for his players safety is a convenient lie, he hates every and anything about Celtic, catholics and anything Irish.
The constant use of the passive tense, such as "it has been reported, there have been reports of", etc, by the broadcast and written media is lazy, unaccountable and dangerous. As you said, it starts a narrative which is then almost impossible to push back against as it is jumped on by those with their own agendas.
I can't believe that hearts couldn't bring them selfs to congratulate the celtic for winning the league very disappointing the fact don't change celtic deserved win the league they.and celtic suffered a huge blow loosing jota against dundee United but the boys went on a unbelievable run since tanadice unbelievable effort by the hoops 👏 congratulations celtic football club 🏆 champions again well done to the boys and Martin o Neil 👏 👍 😀 come on the hoops ✨️ 🙌
They havent even finished their investigation into the events at the Scottish Cup quarter final- as I.saodnthey are circling the wagons to protect themselves.
Scottish FA can't do anything about it as it was an SPFL game - the SPFL are also limited in what they can do given that the clubs voted against Strict Liability in 2019. We shall see how this materialises though.

Who can say with any certainty what the SFA sanction on Celtic will be, for the pitch invasion
Did Rangers ever get sanctioned for the UB invasion of the Ibrox pitch ?

I think Celtic FC will get an SFA £50,000 fine and a suspended sentence for the pitch invasion
Wouldn't be surprised to see a call for fencing too.
