Superb article Andy. For what it’s worth I refuse to watch a minute of this debacle. We all know FIFA was corrupt but Infantino makes Sepp Blatter look like an amateur. Qatar was cynical writ large, but FIFA’s craven stance with regards to Isreal and the fawning towards the piss eyed racist shit gibbon is nauseating. The game is dead. Will we ever be able to wrest in from these shameless fckrs?!
There is also FIFA's partnership with Trump's discredited Board of Peace and Infantino's clown like stage appearances. It would be interesting to find out if FIFA paid the "entrance fee" to Trump. Also you have the banning by Trump of certain referees who don't happen to be the right colour with no real comment from FIFA.
FIFA is broken and it's time for the countries of the world to break ties and form a new federation with rules in place to stop anything like this happening again.
