So, in the noise, wind and rain, after arriving only a day or so before the game , with little reasonable time to communicate his style of play, the guy uses a well known visual communication system in game time. And? What’s your fucking problem with this? Have you considered this might be the best option he currently has to communicate within game time? He needs to get his message across quickly given he has been thrown in at the deep end of shite. Have you considered he needs to factor in that many of his players use English as their second language, as does he? Maybe, just maybe this was the exact right thing to do within the context of the situation. Does it look good, no probably not to a numpty like you, who lives off child like immature mockery of everything your little brain cant quite understand. But if there is anything to mock here, it is the lack of organisation by the board in terms of timing of appointments, or to be more accurate, it is the multiple arse fuck ups of the boars of not backing Rodgers, sacking him and then appointing O’Neil who could never possibly sustain success over the years. So in th midst of this shithole of a mess, they bring in a manager, before O’Neils luck runs out and they ruin his reputation too. Welcome to Celtic Nancy, now go and beat Hearts, who Rodgers could not beat, Roma, who no manager was going to beat, and go win the so called “must win” Diddy cup. Fuck off. Nancy has one mission this year, stay in the race until Christmas, strengthen in January, and win the league. Anything else is a bonus considering the context of the mess the team and club as a whole are in.

Andy that is straight to the point. You are spot on as you rightly said not HN fault nice fella.

But we have Desmond & Lawell who make the big decisions.

They think it is their club..

But it’s clearly not..

In my opinion I’m all for getting behind HN give him support..

But I fear this could be an accident waiting to happen..

Why would you get rid of MO & SM after the job they did make no mistake MO wanted to stay at Celtic.

He’s been told it’s time to go DD & PL have decided for him to go..

But I’m afraid they have in ego we will not be moved approach made a huge mistake HN a

Not sure which game you were watching. Braga scored the first; not the second. And the second goal was a header scored by Oisin McEntee, not Jake O'brien (whoever that is.) I normally enjoy your articles, but it is unforgivable to get factual information incorrect

This is some take on a manager 48 hours and 1 match into the job, is this a serious piece?

This is not analysis, it’s not informed opinion and it’s not a rational or reasonable appraisal of a managers work.

At best this is click bait nonsense, at worst it might actually be your honest view.

MON was never a viable option mid to long term and Sundays match exposed, what we’ve all known since the early stages of this season, we have assembled a squad that is utterly bereft of attacking output or individual quality.

The new manager deserves time, fan support and an opportunity to influence recruitment. This is not the hot take you think it is, it’s a hatchet job based on knee jerk ‘vibes’.

100% and I took that from the headline!

Not reading this horse shit, designed for click bait. Nancy might be a terrible manager but from headline the attitude here is howling. I’m ashamed for you!

Andy, with respect, you’ve missed the point by a country mile.

I commented on the headline because the headline is the shop window. If the window looks like clickbait, I will rightly call it out. That isn’t “engagement”, that’s feedback. The thing proper writers take onboard instead of getting defensive.

As for the dramatic “ashamed we hired a guy after one game” patter come on. That’s not analysis, that’s performance art. If you’re going to critique Nancy, do it on substance. Systems, structures, patterns, decisions. Not stationery and fridge magnets. That’s a low blow I’d expect from the gutters of MSM.

Your headline set the tone. My comment matched it. If you want more considered discussion, lead with it.

Until then, don’t act wounded when someone calls out the style you chose.

So youre accusing me of writing an article for clickbait purposes without reading it beyond the headline. Yet you comment anyway. Surely, you commenting secures what clickbait writers are looking to achieve - engagement.

Im ashamed. I admit it. Im ashamed that we have hired a guy who within one game has made a mockery of our club with office stationary and fridge magnets.

Bang on the dime, Andy, and a reflection of how many Celtic fans must be feeling this morning.

A project manager from a Mickey Mouse league, fiddling with a Battleship board, now managing the Mighty Celtic, you could not make this up if you tried.

The league is now a four horse race between Rangers, Celtic, Hearts and Motherwell.

P.S. You have to give credit, where credit is due, Derek McInnes is doing a great job at Tynecastle.

4 horse race? What nonsense.

Certainly a studs up assessment Andy. McEntee scored second goal, Jake plays for Everton, does he not? PT was a football consultant at Tottenham, amongst others. I felt Maeda scores and we win well, he missed and we didn’t. MON was only ever there for a short time imo, we weren’t great on the eye in many of those games tbh. I’m hoping for investment in next window and a positive recovery

Tisdale was never a consultant at Spurs James - in fact, he was only a self-styled football consultant for just two years before Celtic hired him. Two years after he was sacked by Stevenage in League Two after winning 3 games out of 21!!

Yes, we had chances through Maeda and if he scored then maybe just maybe it would have been different but none of the players looked comfortable with the setup. We were easily beaten down the flanks time and again when Hearts countered.

McEntee was a Newcastle U21 player but left in May 2022 for Walsall. before moving to Hearts on a free in the summer.

There needs to be huge investment in January, but I fear where we are by the time the January window opens.

I was sure said in interview/press Tottenham in a restructuring role but Palace, Fulham, and Den Haag are listed as clients of his firm.

From my position as STH, SH, previous contributor of CT, there are a lot of unknowns in role delegation and we appear to pounce on everything, (me included), we have no option but to wait and see with fingers n toes crossed.
