Would love some sports journalist try to get to the bottom of the £5M Celtic player Michel Ange Balikwisha mystery. A wall of silence has gone up at Parkhead over Balikwisha, and three Celtic managers, Rodgers, Nancy and now O'Neil have refused to play him, and O'Neil has even banished him from the squad altogether. I have a gut feeling there is a scandal there of some kind, just waiting for some investigative journalist to winkle/find out.

Schemeichel is a rat bag. He deliberately hid the true extent of his shoulder injury, to keep his fading hopes of a World Cup place with Denmark alive. I blame the three Celtic managers, Rodgers, Nancy and O'Neil for keeping on playing him in goal, when it was obvious he was past it, and kept Sinisalo kicking his heels in the dug out.

They got lucky when they brought in Ange, and again when Sinisalo signed up.

No progressive club relies on good fortune, when they constantly race with the devil they inevitably get caught out.

BTW we are STILL awaiting an official statement regarding Schmeical's situation.

Like I've said before it's the latest Carry On movie.

Excellent as usual and you've highlighted some of the questions I had such as do we even have a professional medical department, we do but apparently don't speak the same language as our manager, not telling MON the severity of the injury, how's MON supposed to pick his best team without ALL the information available, amateurs

Every single Celtic fan knew there was something wrong. From the cup final penalty shootout to his subsequent games playing well below par. Predictable performances meant opposition had an advantage from the ko.

Ok. Great shot stopper at times but his distribution and general play could be appalling.

CFC must shoulder (pun intended) part of the blame allowing him to jeopardise our season. Our internal sports science/physio/health and well being set up is nothing short of astoundingly awful. How many out with long term injuries?

Currently Celtic has six first team players out injured:

Jota - Cruciate Ligament - out since April 2025

AJ - Hamstring - Out since October 2025 [was rushed back too early by Rodgers]

CCV - Achilles tendon - out since October 2025 [history of injuries - a major risk for further injuries]

Callum Osmand - Hamstring - out since November 2025. Was coming into a game under MON and then poor kid snapped his hamstring and is out long term.

Arne Engels - Thigh injury - Out since 11th February 2026

Kasper Schmeichel - Shoulder injury - out since 27th February. Celtic have yet to say how long term he is out for and if he has played his last game.

Common denominator is back room staff. Or tbh lack off.
