Classic behaviours on BBC Scotland with Tom English rightly pointing up the bigotry element to the derby ‘atmosphere’ but 30 seconds later ignoring 50,000 singing about being up to their knees in the blood of Catholics.

I'm sick of the hand wringing and tut tutting from our media, they are 99% huns with typewriters and like everyone who has a Sevco background are, deaf and dumb when it comes to the bigotry and sectarianism, except Graham Spiers.

They can't bring Celtic into it from yesterday but still they do, meanwhile Desmond, Nicolson and even MON say nothing, if they never call it out it will be lost forever, yet the media hun lackeys call out Celtic fans any and every time they are able, even for individuals walking on cracks in the pavement.

The Scottish media are cowards, one and all, they are afraid they'll get targeted presumably, but even the Scottish Tory leader who showed some balls when he went after criminal gangs when he was a journalist. The BBC are the worst, Pat Bonnar apart, every other "neutral" pundit is a former player from a former team playing out of Diebrox, that is a big reason I dont watch or listen to Scottish sport on their channels, and I fckn pay for the privilege.

Celtic have to start somewhere, well this would be an ideal time, there were no Celtic fans there, so there was no tit for tat as they'd no doubt claim, UEFA told them they were under a suspension and would have a stand closed if the sectarian singing continued, so to me Celtic have to go above the heads of the SFA to make a complaint to Nyon. The real thing that sticks in their craw is that Celtic songs are NOT sectarian so they couldn't rope us in with them across the city, Irish songs DO NOT mean sectarian songs!!!!!!!

Good piece, very good last line.

Our club complicit in it.

Had the chance to change it forever… Five Way Agreement more important.

Agree with all of this but is it really any different to singing DMcI is a sad orange b*****d?

That was sung by many at the Hearts game last season and I have no doubt will be sung again on Sunday. I dont mind being called a fenian because I am one.

Famine song totally different and horrible - should be repercushons -same with Pope songs that were heard at SF

Celtic should be calling this out

The tifo of Ferguson trying to throttle Mike Galloway was celebrated by the clown Tam Cowan on the post match Off the Ball, BBC Scotland programme.

Taking photos of Police whether it is inside Celtic Park or out on the street isn’t against the Law. It is what they do with it that matters - if they then post their personal details online it is against the law. If they just post the photo/video - their name, PC number and station they belong to again that is not against the law.

If they committed a crime then they should face justice and whatever punishment they receive by the courts. I do find it strange however that Police Scotland haven’t been as aggressive in their hunt for suspects from the March disorder. It’s as if they have either given up or not interested in arresting and charging those responsible for disorder that they clearly called out hours after the game that supposedly brought shame on the Scottish game.
