Hoops book a Scottish Cup semi‑final place on penalties before echoes of 1980 and 2016, as raging huns storm the pitch instead of accepting defeat with a shred of dignity
Rangers fans have always been bad news when they lose. As has been already stated, there is many episodes in the past of Ranger's fans invading pitches and wrecking whatever gets in their way, when the result goes against them. They did it with Hibs in the Cup Final, against Celtic several times, and they have continually shamed Scotland in European matches abroad. Time to call it what it is. It's a Ranger's problem.
Just look at all the riots and hooliganism involving Scottish clubs over the years and there is a clear constant. One club is 99.9% responsible and they come from Ibrox.
according to the bbc there was a fight between the green brigade and the onion bears on the park on sunday! I dont know of anyone who witnessed this! surely it would not have been made up!
Video footage clearly shows no fight between either group. What it did show though was Onion Bears attacking Stewards and Police - and trying to get at the Celtic fans. Well I say trying.... a few cops and stewards stood between them and Celtic fans - and all they could do is shout 'Haud me back.... haud me back....' as they pretended to try to break through the thin hi-vest line.
An excellent and honest account of yesterday’s incidents Andy.👏
“There were no clashes, just Rangers fans throwing missiles, pyros, and fireworks at jubilant Celtic supporters and anyone labelling it or reporting it as ‘fans of both sides’ should be called out for their lies.” =Spot on!
…I feel here we should have a special mention of the selective editing and faux outrage of the BBC’s Chris McLaughlin and Tom English
The media will always paint it as ‘they are as bad as each other’ because it means they wont lose their commercial access to Rangers. For years media outlets remained silent on their bigotry and sectarianism through the lower leagues of the SPFL simply because they couldnt tar Celtic with the same brush.
Yesterday, once again proved that Rangers fans cant take losing and they lose it big time. McLaughlin was banned for years from Ibrox and it derailed his career somewhat, he won’t be rocking the boat anymore - likewise English, the man who offered to do a hatchet piece on Paul Murray for Craig Whyte when he took over in 2011. Neither can be trusted as far as you throw them.
If it isn’t Celtic winning on penalties, it is Hibs winning with a last gasp goal, if it’s not that it is the TVs breaking in Manchester - theres only one constant between all three incidents.

this is all the fault of Celtic FC due to the fact of winning a penalty shoot out!!
