Who is Andy Muirhead and why subscribe?

Andy Muirhead, a veteran football blogger and former editor of Scotzine, offering unapologetic commentary and insight into Scottish Football - with a healthy bias towards Celtic Football Club - and other issues that affect football.

He regularly wrote about Celtic FC for ESPN and Fansided, and covered Scottish Football for The Morning Star. Other publications included the HuffPost, BT Sport, and a number of other mainstream media outlets. He has also happily contributed to other fan sites and zines.

After a number of years, producing and hosting The Final Whistle Scottish Football Show for local radio in the Southside of Glasgow - he launched a podcast of the same name. Andy will launch a new podcast show called The Original Internet Bampot in 2026 to accompany this site.
