Welcome return of the Green Brigade, but I fear it is a tad too late to save the league. We are in a terrible position for a team of Celtic's stature, third in the league, unheard of before. To have any chance of winning the league, we definitely need to be able to beat both Rangers and Hearts at home in my opinion. If either or both escape with a win or draw, it's curtains for us.
This is a most welcome step and will inject some atmosphere and energy back into a moribund Celtic park, still I fear it is too late for Celtic to win the league, trailing in third place, way behind in goal difference to Rangers and Hearts ( GD may well decide the destination of the this year's league ), and unfortunately we have a powder puff midfield and impotent striker options. Our wingers are cack, and so far Mon and Maloney keep on playing them. I sincerely hope I am wrong, but to me Rangers are favourites now, as they look to have the bit between their teeth, scoring goals, and have a much stronger squad to either us or Hearts.
I often thought throughout the season that the huns "were at home yet again", it just seemed tilted in their favour, but the fact that all 3 will play the same number of home and away games shuts down any conspiracy theories, the fact we've got 4 of the last 6 at home could be the telling factor plus playing huns and their cousins at CP is a fine wee bonus.
