When the polis are tasked with marking their own homework you get fck all like the truth.

The amount of masons on duty that day makes for a joke of a report on which team's fans were at fault.

Fckn whitewash.

Asking a simple question such as how many officers were on duty during the game, and then in previous derby games - should not be exempt from FOI requests. It has no bearing on public safety or detrimental to enforcement of the law. Asking the questions about numbers was to look at how many were specifically on duty at a derby game with 2500 fans and then the latest game with 7500 fans - and if they actually increased number of officers on duty that day or kept it the same. They also claimed they had no information on how many stewards were on duty - despite them being in charge of policing and match day operations. They would have to know this to make sure they knew where to put their officers before, during, and after the game. Clearly there has been a total fuck-up and Police Scotland are circling the wagons to protect themselves - and their handling and operations must be investigated by an independent body and their findings published.
