Schmeichel's name bought him extra time at Celtic, but Sinisalo's performances have signalled the heir apparent's time is now to be the club's new number one.
It's a No Brainer. Sinisalo is the future face of Glasgow Celtic, and I don't see Martin O'Neil letting Schemeichel back in again. It's pitiful watching Schemeichel screaming at his own players for his own errors and mistakes. Liam Scales made it pretty clear indirectly, on his praise for Sinisalo, that Schemeichel is not liked by his fellow Celtic players.
Schemeichel is done. He shouldn't even play for Denmark in the World Cup this summer.
He needs injections for his shoulder and he is about three stone overweight.
He has cost Celtic two Cup Finals, I'm largely blaming him for the second goal against St.Mirren in the Cup Final too, and he couldn't save any penalties in the Kairat penalty shoot out.
I can't argue with your assessment here Andy when Vil came in for a period in last season's run in after Schmeichel's injury I thought then he should've kept hold of the jersey then. If he'd done so then we probably beat Aberdeen and win the treble because Sinisalo wouldn't have made that error for their goal in the final. We've seen already what our future looks like in the big Finn's capable hands, no pun intended, and it looks really positive as he commands his eighteen yard box with authority and his distribution is excellent what more can we ask for? However, having said all of this I think Martin will pick the Dane for his experience and that might be a title defining intervention that costs us top spot, I personally can't see us winning anything with this team this season but I'd love the players to prove me wrong. If we drop points tomorrow then I think that's our goose cooked, again though I hope the players prove me wrong, I think this Motherwell game will be our most difficult of the nine games left.
Motherwell taught us a football lesson the last time we visited Fir Park, but lest you forgot, we were led by that useless tit Nancy, we are a very different team now, im sure we will prevail today. COYBIG
