An excellent article. Buzz word brendan at press conferences appeals to the lowest common denominator in the support. these people have let themselves be convinced/conned that every issue is down solely to the board and don't understand that we also have a manager who is an expert in managed decline. The record since Bayern is mid table form in the spl. He has improved no player. Most players he has let go for ‘not being good enough’ have improved since leaving. His choices in recruitment poor. I have no idea what strategy defensively or offensively he is coaching during training as the players look like they enter the pitch with no plan. There is no ability to change the way we play mid game. His choices of staff are awful. Initial personnel decisions are poor and substitutes are desperate and too late. He is neither a coach nor a manager. The board should have known this from the first spell in charge and need to act soon rather than being held hostage in January.

Totally agree mate, not sure Knutsen would fancy fighting against our useless board but he can only say no so the question should be asked.

If it was a no then we'd be stuck with another yes man in Maloney, nothing surer.

I doubt very much Knutsen would even come to Celtic under the current conditions - where board members who are accountants and bankers think they know more than the footballing side of the club on football matters. He wouldn't be given a free rein like he does currently and that is why he would certainly knock back the job if it is offered - BUT he is the type of manager we should be going for. But as you said and as I said in the article we'll probably go with another board lickspittle with Maloney one of the few on that list.

Don't forget he destroyed Kyogo and turned him from a fantastic striker into a shadow of his former self.

Todays display was akin to a Robin Reliant than Ferrari

I said the very same thing when Kyogo went from the league's top scorer to a player who looked nothing like his former self. Having to drop back all the time just to get the ball, because Brendan ball did bugger all for his game.
