The “unhappy marriage” analogy between the board & Brendan explains it all. They don’t like him & don’t trust him with a transfer budget especially as he’s off in May. Brendan’s brand of football has been chronic pretty much all of 2025. You’d think they could act like grown ups & find a way Brendan could leave, a new manager brought in by the January window & somehow retrieve the league. With Brendan in post it’s heading south. He doesn’t want to be here anymore but won’t walk out on the kids. The board don’t have the balls to put him out the house. Is there someone, anyone in the room who can step up?

Not one person in the room John. Egos before the club for sure. Individuals before the club. Not one who is there that puts the clubs best interests first. Either about money or about themselves.

I wanted Rodgers back for his second stint, based purely on the fact that I thought he would bring attractive, winning football back to the club. However, I don't think the team has played well since the Bayern game, and I feel that his posturing and mind games with the board.. not playing "club bought players" and his loyalty to under performing players, has been brought about this current mess. It's time we cleared house, and pay Rodgers off and bring in a new set of eyes to oversee what I feel is the bones of a decent but fractured squad.

I didnt want him back after the way he left first time round - he won many round inc me but he is not the manager we need going forward.

He was found out in his second season during his first spell and hasn't changed his style since then and it shows as opposition are now easily taking the game to us and nullifying any threat we have.

We relied heavily on certain players last season, they were sold and now we are left with empty jerseys - the board have to take responsibility but Rodgers has to take his fair share also.

His ego is getting in the way. He is clearly working his ticket and the players know this. It is affecting their game and its time we have a clear out of the whole management team as much as we need to clear out the board also.
