He's not remotely worth anything like that. Not close to being a Celtic quality player.

Bowie is pretty raw and I'm not sure he can be developed all that much. Although he's a decent finisher he's not really a penalty box striker which is what Celtic need currently. I've seen him up close numerous times as Hibs are my local team. I cannot see the board paying what Hibs want. £3-4m is reasonable but £6m plus isn't. I'm far from convinced the board will sign a striker at all and if they do it will be hours before the deadline and too late for the visit to Tynecastle.

We won't be signing Bowie at £6.5M, because Desmond won't open the biscuit tin again after getting skinned for £26M with Trusty, Idah and Engels. It will be loans, and that's all you get. We might as well gift wrap the league to Rangers/Heart right now.

Our scouting team is non existent. We've been relying on friends and acquaintances for the last few years

The Head of Scouting left for Swansea. Tisdales snake oil sales system was not fit for purpose and that was supposed to look at recruiting players. We've got Craig Strachan as a scout who got the gig thanks to Daddy Strachan and then we had David Bloody Pleat for a year scouting for us from his assisted living facility. The Celtic board claim our club is modern and at the forefront of the game but in honesty they are about 20-30 years behind everyone else. They're having to run to their best pal Dudu Dahan for players. The whole structure of the club needs bulldozed and rebuilt - without this board at the controls.

I.d be surprised if Hibs sold Bowie to Celtic if an English Championship club matched the fee he'd be sold to them

They would rather get £6.5m from an English club than Celtic or Rangers as they wouldnt want to face him. But they'll push hard for every little penny from Celtic and Rangers as they have all the cards while English clubs can just say ok keep him and go to their next target.

If there are teams in the English championship that are prepared to pay the fee then Hibs will sell to them they're not going to sell to a competitor if the same money is on offer elsewhere

Our recruitment (ha!) team are like our board, not fit for purpose, so long as the STs sell in the Spring, they will remain in situ!!!!
